The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, declared that the municipal elections scheduled for July 27, 2025, represent an opportunity to consolidate and expand the revolutionary project.
During the closing ceremony of the Seven Transformations Workshop (7T), the president affirmed that this electoral process, which will seek the 31st victory of the 33 contests under the Bolivarian democratic model, will reflect the popular support for the continuity of 21st-century socialism in Venezuela.
In this regard, the Head of State emphasized that the results of these elections will demonstrate the validity of the 21st-century socialist model and the defense of participatory democracy. He emphasized the importance of maintaining cohesion within the revolutionary movement and political support for the decisions of the GPPSB leadership to strengthen state management from the bottom up, promoting popular participation.
He also reiterated the need to consolidate organizational structures in the communities. He highlighted the creation of authentic leaderships, rooted in the territories, capable of carrying out actions aligned with the transformational agendas promoted by the Executive Branch. Active community participation is essential for implementing public policies that promote social well-being and popular sovereignty.
