The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued a statement on June 12, 2025, condemning the attack perpetrated by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement expresses Venezuela’s strong support for Iran, which has been the victim of a violent attack by the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, and also demands a cessation of hostilities by Israel.
Venezuela condemns criminal agression of Israel against Iran
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly condemns the illegitimate, unjustified aggression that violates the international State of Law perpetrated by the State of Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is an act of War that joins the large history of crimes by Netanyahu’s regime, whose destruction machinery acts outside of any legality. Venezuela demands the immediate ceasing of all hostilities by part of Israel, which has converted its external politics into a permanent threat against peace in Western Asia.
We express our firmest solidarity tot the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, to President Mahmoud Pezeshkian and to the Iranian people, given this cowardly attack.
We reiterate that there will not be peace without justice, and that justice starts by stopping the warmongering craze of Israel, a military enclave of the genocides of the Palestinian people and war criminals that have become into the biggest threat to the peace of the humanity.”
