In an event that brought together leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution and people from the entire Aragua state, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the inauguration and swearing-in of the state’s new governor, Joana Sánchez.

Regarding the oath that Commander Chávez once took in front of the historic Samán de Güere, marking the beginning of the Revolution with the MBR-200, the Venezuelan leader recalled that it was from this place that it all began, “exactly 42 years, 5 months, and 19 days ago, the oath to rescue the homeland, to rebuild it, to raise the flags of Bolívar.»

«This oath has been fulfilled, Commander Hugo Chávez. We stand with the people, today more rebellious, more revolutionary, more Bolivarian. The people of Aragua, cradle of the Bolivarian Revolution, of the Revolutionary Movement-200,» he emphasized.

During the event, the Governor received the blessing and investiture to officially inaugurate her term for the 2025-2029 term from legislator Tatiana Hernández, at the emblematic Historical Monument of the Samán de Güere.

Taking Bolivarian ideals as her guide, with an energetic and hopeful speech, the Aragua state leader expressed the following after her swearing-in: «Our aborigines were here, our Liberator Simón Bolívar was also here, resting under the shadow of the Samán, designing strategies.»

In addition, Sánchez emphasized that this iconic location for the state of Aragua was also attended by Commander Chávez, a historical figure of the new century, of a new history, of a new political rebirth.

It is worth noting that Sánchez, who was the candidate for the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), officially presented her government plan: «Aragüeñidad 2025-2029: People Who Resolve,» on May 9 in the municipality of Girardot. This proposal invites the collective construction of a future where possibilities become reality.

Furthermore, in her speeches, the Governor has demonstrated her vision of inspiring a movement that will drive the transformation of Aragua, appealing to the energy and focus of youth as the driving force of change. Since the plan is deeply rooted in the history and identity of Aragua, from the resistance of the indigenous peoples to the present, and articulated in perfect fusion with the 7 Transformations promoted by President Nicolás Maduro.
