National Government reaffirms high risks of traveling to the U.S.

This Tuesday, the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, reaffirmed the high risks posed to Venezuelans traveling to the United States, due to the inherent danger of kidnapping and deportation to concentration camps. The diplomat issued this warning on his channel on Telegram:

«The Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to alert all Venezuelans about the risks of traveling to the United States, where migrants are kidnapped and sent to concentration camps,» warned again the Venezuelan official in a digital post.

Even so, he recalled that Venezuelan government institutions “will continue to offer our unconditional support to our compatriots in the U.S. and we extend a cordial invitation to return to their homeland, where they can enjoy dignified treatment and an environment of peace”, thus it was stated.

Previously, the Chancellory of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued last Sunday a Maximum Travel Alert for all Venezuelan citizens, given the danger that the United States (U.S.) poses to travelers from anywhere in the world, but especially to Venezuelan citizens.
