The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that the Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan) is an Organic Law of the Republic, and with it «We are advancing towards a higher level of national unity: uniting all who can be united to love, build, and create the Empowered Venezuela.»
In a message posted on social media, the head of state stated that, together with People’s Power, everything is possible: «Together we are stronger!» he expressed. He also emphasized that the nation is in a «process of listening and understanding» to join forces and progress.
The president added that «today we have a clear idea of what our homeland should be,» with refined and relevant plans for national identity, «and with plans that emerge from practical reality, with a people that is increasingly empowered, aware, and powerful.»
«Government and power belong to the ordinary men and women throughout the country; we are merely the conductors and facilitators of this new power,» he asserted.
