The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led a work meeting this Thursday with the High Political-Military Command to promote initiatives to advance the new stage of the Revolution, with the participation of the People’s Power through the communal councils and communes.
At the meeting, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) was accompanied by Diosdado Cabello, secretary general of the PSUV, and the elected governors of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB), as well as the deputies of the National Assembly (AN) and officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
«What is coming here is a time of stability, harmony, and prosperity for the country, much work, in order to have a homeland,» emphasized the head of state. He also emphasized that this will be possible with the quality and capacity of everyone to carry out the seven transformations plan.
At the same time, he emphasized the importance of restoring the social welfare state that Commander Hugo Chávez enjoyed before the war of unilateral coercive measures arrived: «We must maintain a clear momentum toward our tasks and accelerate the offensive to build a new one, and carry out the Organic Law of the Homeland Plan of Seven Transformations,» he added.
