This Thursday, 315 Venezuelans arrived in Venezuela from Mexico, thanks to the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan, implemented by the National Government to protect migrants wishing to return to the country.
On this flight, 95 women, 74 men, 80 girls, and 66 boys returned to the homeland, according to a press release. Through the Vuelta a la Patria plan, the Venezuelan State provides migrants with the necessary care to guarantee their safety, health, and human rights, as well as facilitate their incorporation into the country’s new productive model.
Likewise, the National Government is working to reunite these citizens who migrated from these countries as a result of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States against Venezuela.
The Vuelta a la Patria Plan is a social program of the Venezuelan State proposed by President Nicolás Maduro Moros. Its fundamental objective is to offer support and encouragement to Venezuelan migrants who voluntarily express their desire to return to the country, in response to the vulnerable situation faced by Venezuelan citizens abroad, according to a statement from the Venezuelan Chancellory.
