Popular and Communal Government System strengthened in Miranda state

From the «La Lucha” boulevard in the Leoncio Martínez parish, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, held a meeting with representatives of the area’s communes to showcase the progress they have made through the Popular and Communal Government System.

Among the points raised is the presentation of an Integral Tourist Route, as part of the «Antonio José de Sucre Plan,» which aims to connect and enhance the historical, cultural, magical-ancestral, and gastronomic elements of the Miranda state region.

In this regard, it is important to note that to visit each of these stops, the tour will be done by motorcycle, with an approximate time of 10 minutes between each point, in order to explore the local attractions.

Potentials of the Parish:

This emblematic place has become a focal point for implementing internal organizational strategies that promote the economic, historical, social, and political development of the Miranda region. This tourism destination offers a wide range of attractions ideal for recreation and enjoyment for both its residents and visitors.

Furthermore, the diverse cultural and sporting talents this destination hosts, along with community organization, make it a welcoming and safe space for tourists. It also boasts an outstanding and varied culinary offering that includes national dishes, typical sweets, and handicrafts.

Vision for Popular Growth:

Through community activities led by committed organizations, we constantly seek to improve the quality of life in this area, steeped in history through its deep-rooted traditions and the hospitality of its people. This makes it a destination for community cooperation that inspires continued work for the sustainable development of Venezuela.

Progress and achievements through Communal Power:

This project began its promotion through the Miranda Tourism Corporation, which has intervened in the «La Lucha» neighborhood. The goal is to create a product of high tourist, social, and cultural value for the community, through the following action schedule:

Construction of an open-air urban art gallery.

Tourism awareness workshops by the Ministry for Tourism.

Entrepreneurship training by the Miranda State Entrepreneurship Secretariat and Mi Banco (my bank).

Aesthetic and structural attention by the new neighborhood of the Tricolor neighborhood (7 commercial premises, a guided homework center, and 150 family home facades).

Training and development for more than 70 entrepreneurs who are part of the urban tourism route, through the Ministry of Tourism.

Banking and financial assistance workshops by the Workers’ Digital Bank and the National Entrepreneurship Fund, aimed at the more than 70 entrepreneurs on the route.

Additionally, this tourist route includes an urban route, organized as follows:

Finally, it is important to highlight that this project is based on the 7 Transformations Plan and aims to pacify, reclaim, and rebuild the Petare parish. With the activation of this 10-km route, the municipality’s potential will be fully realized.
