Hernández Lárez: FANB begins post-election phase, which will culminate on Tuesday, May 27

The head of the Strategic Operational Command (CEO) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Governor Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that, once completed the 2025 Regional and Legislative Elections, has begun the post-electoral phase:

«From this moment on begins the third phase, known as the post-electoral phase. This phase includes the radial and linear withdrawal of the means used, as well as the electoral material, both technological and non-technological,» he stated in the National Electoral Council (CNE) Press Room, where a balance of Operation Republic – Elections 2025 was provided.

He specified that this withdrawal, which begins this Sunday, May 25, will culminate next Tuesday, May 27.

He emphasized that the FANB, together with the Citizen Security Agencies, maintains a deployment of more than 412,000 personnel in 15,748 Voting Centers, providing support, security, custody, transportation, and protection to voters and electoral teams.

He also reported that no violent incidents were reported throughout Venezuela during the election day.

He thanked all public entities for their support in carrying out this democratic, participatory, and participatory election.

Hernández Lárez stated that Operation Republic Elections 2025 will remain active until the end of the popular election process for indigenous representatives to the National Assembly (AN).
