Cabello announced suspension of flights between Colombia and Venezuela after capturing terrorist group

The Minister for Interior Relations, Justice, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, announced this Monday the immediate suspension of all incoming flights from Colombia to Venezuela, arguing that there is a risk of conspiracy within the country ahead of the gubernatorial, congressional, and legislative elections to be held next Sunday, May 25.

During a press conference, the official explained that the decision was made due to information indicating that certain passengers were entering as tourists with the intention of carrying out attacks in Venezuela:

«We are immediately suspending all incoming flights from Colombia to Venezuela because the information we have is that these individuals are entering the country as «tourists» and intend to carry out their attacks here. We already have 38 people arrested for these conspiracies,» stated Cabello.
