Head of State receives great march for family and life

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed at Miraflores Palace the men, women, children, and grandparents who participated in the Great March for Family and Life.

In the context of the International Day of Families, commemorated every May 15, the Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) called for this mobilization, which also reflects the celebration of the Venezuelan people following the rescue of the child Maikelys Espinoza, achieved by the revolutionary government under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro.

This date, which exalts the importance of the family unit, is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness about the fundamental role of families in the education of children from early childhood, and the lifelong learning opportunities that exist for children and young men and women.

The Venezuelan dignitary was accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Cilia Flores; the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the Defender of Human Rights and Truth of Venezuela, Camilla Fabri de Saab; the pastor and prophet of the Imperial Christian Center, Efershon Pérez; among other authorities, including Nahum Fernández, Mayor of Caracas and Vice President for Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.

Also present was Lorena Ramírez, pastor of the Third Day Generation Sanctuary Ministry.

Earlier, the Head of State, a man who has put peace for the Venezuelan family first, posted on his Telegram account a message of hope for reunion.

He also noted that today marks one year since he assumed his role as protector of the Venezuelan family: “With Christian love and dedication, I assumed the role of protector of the Venezuelan family a year ago. That’s why today, May 15, I join the celebration that celebrates unity, life, and hope.”

Along these lines, the President emphasized that the family is the foundation for creating a new civilization of love for future generations; it is the main force for defeating anti-values, and it is the center of effort and work:

We are committed and will persevere to reunite the Venezuelan families who have been separated. We will bring them back so they can dream and build in their homeland. You can count on me!” emphasized the Venezuelan head of state in his message.
