With the goal of comprehensively advancing the protection of Venezuelan families and guaranteeing job stability for the working class, the President of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced the increase to $160 of the minimum integral income. This income is comprised of two fundamental elements: the economic war income, which increases from $90 to $120, and the cestaticket (alimentation bonus), which is set at $40, both indexed to the official rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela.
From Bolívar state, where he celebrated the 14th anniversary of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela with the workers of the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation (CVG), the head of state emphasized the ratification of the presidential decree on the salary income policy, which will remain indexed, due to recent economic attacks and unilateral sanctions.
Likewise, he announced the increase in the integral minimum income for pensioners, implemented through the Patria Platform, to $50 indexed. In this regard, he noted that more than five million pensioners receive this integral payment.
The head of state recalled that since the creation of the automatic indexation mechanism for the Comprehensive Minimum Income, income has increased by 135 percent: «The criminal right wing failed in its attempt to subdue Venezuela. We have performed miracles to protect the workers of the country,» he said.
