President Maduro: Venezuela breaks ties with the World Bank and the IMF

«Venezuela broke ties with the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and imperialism; now we are building our own self-sustaining model and the new relationships of the new world,» affirmed the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

In a message on his social media, the head of state emphasized that the nation has experienced 16 quarters of growth in all economic engines «in a harmonious and measured manner.» He also emphasized that there is now evidence of «concrete development in the economy that produces food, goods, services, medicine,» along with the thirteen engines

He asserted that “the entrepreneurship sector registered a 59% increase last year and is growing at a very high rate this year,» which demonstrates the dynamism and resilience of the national production sector.

These actions reinforce the Bolivarian Government’s commitment to implementing policies that foster the country’s comprehensive growth, with the goal of strengthening an autonomous and diverse economic model.
