The delegations of Venezuela and Qatar held a meeting in which they reviewed the bilateral cooperation agenda and international issues with the aim of deepening relations.

In this regard, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, who leads the national delegation, thanked the Emir of Qatar, Tamin Bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, «for such a fruitful meeting.» She also presented the Emir with greetings from Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro, «and our willingness to continue deepening relations.»

The Emir of Qatar, the highest authority in that nation, sent his best wishes to the Venezuelan head of state and expressed his desire for continued progress for Venezuela.

The meeting addressed crucial topics regarding trade between the two countries, reviewing the progress made to date and exploring new opportunities to strengthen these ties. Both leaders agreed on the importance of working together in areas of mutual interest that benefit both nations.

For its part, the Presidential Office of Qatar, on its Instagram account, reported that «the Prince received Her Excellency Dr. Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, Vice President of the Executive Branch and Minister of People’s Power for Hydrocarbons of the friendly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and the delegation of entities, on the occasion of their visit to the country, in his office at the Court of Principals.»
