During the «El Café» segment of his program, «Maduro Live de Repente” (Maduro Suddenly Live), the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, stated that by 2027, there should be 6,000 consolidated communes, organizationally, economically, politically, educationally, and socially, and strengthened by the 7 Transformations of the Nation.
In addition, the national leader emphasized that a beautiful project is being built in Venezuela, with a new architecture, which «is the new democracy, the new culture, a new civilization that will completely replace the decadent Western capitalist culture, which has already expired.»
He noted that the revolutionary government is building an economic, ethical, cultural, and educational model in which power will continue to be vested in the people.
The Venezuelan dignitary added that through the National University of Communes will be trained great community leaders.
Along these lines, the Minister of People’s Power for Communes, Social Movements, and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, asserted that the great leaders of the nation, such as Commander Chávez, have always promoted popular participation and the new model of democracy, which is currently being consolidated.
In addition, he added that each communal circuit must become a commune, starting from the moment it legalizes its founding charter, which refers to the constitution of the commune.
For his part, the Sectoral Vice President for the Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, affirmed that all communes must be a communal circuit, noting that there are 299 established communal circuits in the city of Caracas.
