During the meeting with candidates from the Great Patriotic Pole «Simón Bolívar» (GPPSB), nominated for the elections for deputies, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, instructed the high-level legal, legislative, and political teams of the National Assembly (AN) to reach a consensus and present the Parliamentary Program for the 2026-2031 term.
The head of state explained that the objective of this program is to accelerate economic recovery and strengthen the country’s democratic institutions, because the achievements obtained during the years of the Bolivarian Revolution have made it evident how the people has been benefited, “only when the patriotic, revolutionary, and Chavista forces have a majority in the National Assembly, it is public, evident, and widely communicated.»
«In these 26 years of the Revolution, we have held 31 constitutional elections, and no country in the world can say this, because of these, we have won 29,» stated the President, referring to the historical trajectory of the revolution in terms of votes since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez.
The President noted that, to win the elections, work teams must be formed, as well as the parliamentary political agenda, and thus must be implemented a perfect plan for integration with the communities.
