This Tuesday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced that 340 national and international companies, currently in the midst of development and capital growth, were present at the launch of the Telecommunications and New Technologies Engine.
This 13th engine of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda continues to advance the development and diversification of new technologies.
The head of state emphasized: «We have a model that has allowed the Venezuelan state to combine its companies and its ability to attract investment.»
He added that 40 additional companies were also present at this event, but in the field of new technologies and with a capacity for scientific innovation.
Along these lines, the Venezuelan president emphasized that Venezuela is heading onwards, acquiring new technological capabilities and growing in the process of promoting the Telecommunications and New Technologies Engine, created in a very early manner, and during the country’s most difficult times, when it was under «a barrage of sanctions and unilateral coercive measures.»
Growth of the 13th Engine:
Regarding the growth of this sector, the national dignitary reported that it will increase by 7% in 2024, which he described as «very important in the country, and in the New Era that humanity is experiencing, where technology and communications services mark the economic revolution the world is experiencing today.»
He also added that the Venezuelan economy grew by over 9% in 2024, which is very significant for the advancement of Venezuelan capital and new investments.
President Maduro also emphasized that this historic era cannot be understood without believing in the drive and disruptive momentum that «the telecommunications revolution represented in the world, and in which Venezuela was not left behind.»
Furthermore, he emphasized that the Telecommunications and New Technologies Engine is the combination of all forms of national and international innovation and investment.
