UN Human Rights Council member countries acknowledge negative impact of sanctions

The majority of the member nations of the United Nations Human Rights Council acknowledge the negative impact of the so-called «sanctions» on the enjoyment of human rights; this was stated by the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil.

He emphasized that Venezuela is one of the countries that has received the most sanctions or unilateral coercive measures, in which «all of them have been promoted by the unhinged members of the Venezuelan extreme right wing, who refuse to accept their political failure and, with hatred, seek to punish an entire country.»

He also expressed that the country’s rejection of the sanctions and their internal and external promoters is unanimous: «The Bolivarian Government has managed to establish a path to prosperity and economic growth to defeat each and every one of them.»

«Sanctions are a crime and must be unconditionally repealed,» declared the Venezuelan Chancellor, adding that «The country has suffered more than a thousand coercive measures illegally imposed by the United States (US) and its subordinate countries.»
