The ministers comprising the Sectoral Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, Ecosocialism, and Health held a meeting to review the work agenda, focused on strengthening the well-being and peace of the Venezuelan people.
The meeting, led by the sectoral vice president of the area, Gabriela Jiménez, was attended by the Minister for Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina, and authorities from the respective ministries.
During the meeting, were highlighted the progress and strategies of the Great Mission Mother Earth, an initiative promoted by President Nicolás Maduro Moros to address the climate crisis and engage communities nationwide in building sustainable solutions, as stated Jiménez on social media.
Likewise, public health actions were discussed in depth, with special attention to the Immunization Plan, the «Health Goes to School» Program, the deployment of the Bricomiles (Communal and Military Brigades for Education and Health) for the recovery of health facilities, and the training of the human talent necessary for the modernization of the National Public Health System.
Within the framework of the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán Great Science Mission, an assessment was made of the implementation of prioritized projects in the 13 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda and the 7T Plan, with the aim of promoting the country’s scientific and technological development.
