The recent study conducted by Country Monitor in March 2025 by the Hinterlaces company shows that 84% of the Venezuelan population believes that the measures adopted by the Donald Trump administration in the United States against Venezuelan migrants were promoted by María Corina Machado.
Only 9% of those surveyed stated that this was not the case, and 7% did not know or did not answer.
The survey was conducted in February throughout the country, through 900 direct household interviews and telephone databases. The instrument was applied to individuals over 18 years of age, male and female, from economic strata A, B, C, D, and E.
