The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, ordered the reactivation of the National University of the Communes, so that it is the central axis of the training of all the social-territorial leadership of the country.
This instruction was issued directly to the Minister of Peopĺe’s Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, who, along with the others incorporated into this plan, will have a maximum of 15 days to present the proposal for the study plan, the headquarters of the university and the rectoral team.
In addition to Minister Sánchez, the Minister of People’s Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, as well as the Minister of People’s Power for the Social Process of Labor, Eduardo Piñate, must be in this educational project.
During his speech, the president stressed that this university is also designed to have international characteristics and thus provide a broader education for each of the students who prepare at this University.
