Venezuela is the center of the world’s attention because there is a dispute for control and dominance, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a conversation with the intellectual Ignacio Ramonet:
“We know all these ways of acting of the empire and its allies. They believed that 2024 was the definitive year and they applied the diplomacy of deception, based on negotiations that we developed with the outgoing Joe Biden government, which they fully failed to comply with,” said President Maduro.
However, they did not count on the fact that in Venezuela there is a popular-military-police fusion of the great historical block, which has disrupted the imperialist plan to try to destroy the Bolivarian Revolution:
“They maintain their determination to destabilize Venezuela. And then they try to turn it into a global election, just as they turned the presidential elections on July 28, and now even more so with social media, the manipulation of social media,” he said.
In response to the claim that January 10 will be a global inauguration, the President confirmed that fascism has not succeeded and will not succeed in destabilizing the country, nor leading it down the path of chaos:
“Venezuela is at peace, calm, tranquil and sure of its destiny. And just as we have dismantled internal conspiracies, pressures, external conspiracies, mercenaries and terrorists, we guarantee the people of Venezuela and the peoples of the world that Venezuela will continue on its path of independence, peace and revolution.”
