The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced this Monday that officials of the United States administration are becoming multimillionaires due to the Miami lobby against Venezuela:
“All the statements there are against Venezuela right now, at this time, which are in full development, be it (Anthony) Blinken, Brian Nichols, John Kirby, they all have a price, they are becoming multimillionaires with the Miami lobby,” he said in his “Con Maduro +” program.
The first Mandatary affirmed that “each one of the US officials is called and
told to publish such and such on Twitter, and they send it to them in writing, and each Twitter costs 10,000 dollars. Since this United States government is retreating, they are scraping the pot,” added the Venezuelan head of state.
In this regard, he said that “it is up to them with their statements and their threats,” since Venezuela will continue working, and thus he stressed that the investors from the United States and Europe who are investing in the country know that there are guarantees of peace and stability for them to reproduce their capital.
On the other hand, Maduro pointed out that in the United States “lobby democracy” is practiced, and it is legal there. A public official, such as a congressman, can receive money from the owners of the main weapons manufacturers so that they declare their public office always in favor of weapons, for an instance, he stressed.
