From the Presidential Command Post, the commander in chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, offers an assessment of the criminal aggression against the National Electric Service (NES).
Earlier, the national President spoke about this aggression through his account on the Threads social network @nicolasmaduro, where he rejected the attack and reaffirmed his unrestricted support for the Bolivarian people:
“As always, I am with the people and I am at the forefront of the situation, facing this criminal attack against the National Electric System. I have said it and I repeat it: Calm and Sanity, Nerves of Steel! Desperate fascism attacks the people, but together we will overcome this new attack. We shall always overcome!» he said in this message.
In this regard, the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, announced in the morning hours of this Friday that the National Electric Service «has been restored in several parts of the country under security protocols.»
He explained the start of the contingency plan, as well as the supervision of public services: «All services are being checked, supervised and at this moment the network is already beginning to be energized and to receive electric power in some sectors of Caracas city; it is a process that is happening little by little, within security measures,» was part of the balance offered earlier by the high official.
