The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, delivered the fully rehabilitated Integral Diagnostic Center (CDI), Integral Rehabilitation Room (SRI) «Ludovico Silva», located in the El Cementerio sector, in the city of Caracas.
The Head of State pointed out that thanks to the work of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles), “we continue advancing in the health of our people and delivering, like new, to you neighbors of the El Cementerio sector, my dear compatriots, I love you, I deliver to you like new the CDI Ludovico Silva, recovered by the Bricomiles.»
He also inaugurated, through a televised link with the Sucre municipality, in Miranda state, the Delivery Room of the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, within the framework of strengthening the hospital infrastructure with modernization and technical capacity installed with state-of-the-art equipment:
“(…) Almost finished with the repairs and it was attacked on the night of the bloody knives, on the night of terror, fascist, on Monday, July 29, they tried to assault it and burn it and who saved it? The community,” said President Maduro.
Along these lines, he reminded the people of the damage caused by the sanctions to the country’s infrastructure, sanctions promoted by the extreme right.
“We were left without a cent to do anything, and that deteriorated many things in the country, they did the damages to then come later to deceive and say: Maduro is to blame for everything, the revolution is to blame. But here there is a conscious people and we are the majority who have a conscience of the Homeland, those who love this country,” he added.
During the activity dedicated to the health sector, the Decentralized hospitalization service of the Rotary Hospital was also reopened in the Ana Soto parish of Lara state. At the site, Dr. Javier Cabrera pointed out that this center has areas for ultrasound, gynecology, general consulting rooms and more than 36 hospital beds.
Services that will benefit “an important point and circle that provides quality care,” and more than “66,000 consultations, 5,000 interventions have been carried out, of which 50% are requests from VenApp”, Cabrera explained.
In Falcón state, specifically in the city of Coro, the headquarters of Mision Sonrisa (Mission Smile) was delivered in the Integral Community Health Area (ASIC) Dr. Pedro de Armas.
At the site, the sole health authority, Jean Carlos Sánchez, highlighted the great transformation of the spaces in favor of the people.
For his part, the Head of State indicated to the people that «the highest technology will continue to reach hospitals, CDI, outpatient clinics, SRI, CAT -High Technology Center- hospitals, community centers.»
