Jorge Rodríguez proposes reforming electoral legislation in order to prevent foreign interference

The president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez, proposed this Tuesday to reform the Law of Electoral Processes, in order to prevent foreign interference against the country, in relation to the constant violations by the observers who come by invitation of the Electoral Power and then attack the process, the institutions and the Venezuelan State.

This was stated during his intervention in the debate to condemn the cyberfascism perpetrated by the terrorist sector of the opposition against the Venezuelan people, where he denounced the interference of the representatives of the Carter Center of the United States, «paid by USAID.»

«I propose that we reform the electoral laws of Venezuela, so that never again a foreign agent comes to take a position on anything that has to do with the elections in the country. Why does someone have to come, on account of what? There are those on the UN panel of experts, they are no people of their word. They signed saying that the report is private and only the Venezuelan Electoral Power and the UN Secretary would know it, and today they say they are going to publish it,” he said.

In that sense, he pointed out that as long as the Venezuelan people is rebellious, dissident, dignified, brave and revolutionary, the national and international right wing will continue attacking: “and we will defeat them, just as we are already defeating fascism.”

“They thought they would overthrow us on Monday – July 29 – and then on Tuesday – July 30 – now they come with international pressure. Do come with international pressure then, we have a (martial arts) black belt in international pressure,” asserted Rodriguez.
