This Monday, a patrol plan was activated with the objective of monitoring the country’s electrical stations and thus safeguarding and protecting the service by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
In his account on the X social network, Hernández Lárez highlighted: «By orders of our Commander in Chief @NicolasMaduro, the FANB activates the Special Patrol and Surveillance Plan 24 hours a day, through all the existing peace quadrants in each of the garrisons, to safeguard and protect all the strategic facilities that belong to Venezuelans and that provide welfare services to the Communities. For us, the Homeland comes first!”
This measure was adopted by the authorities, after the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, revealed this Monday during his “Con Maduro+” program about “a coup d’état plan that the ultra-right wing is secretly plotting to attack Venezuela’s electrical system, which according to first-hand information, they seek to alter to destabilize.”
The head of state pointed out that he has evidence and pointed out that those responsible for sabotaging the electrical system are “arrested, captured and confessed,” which is why he ordered the military high command to initiate an emergency plan to guarantee the safety of the population.
