President Maduro handed over the rehabilitated Niños Cantores del Zulia Theater

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, delivered the rehabilitated and conditioned Teatro Niños Cantores del Zulia (Theater of the Singing Children of Zulia).

In the emotional event, the head of state congratulated Jacqueline Faría, president of Mission Venezuela Bella and presidential commissioner, who was in charge of the rehabilitation in this first phase of the work, “we must continue moving forward” he oriented, by highlighting that everything done is done for God.

So everything we do for culture, for education, for boys, for girls, we do it for God. It is the offering that we give to God and if we do it in Maracaibo we do it for the Chinita (Virgin Mary of Chiquinquirá), so now comes the second part,” she reported.

For his part, Father Richard Colmenares thanked the work carried out to beautify the theater, in this sense he detailed the areas that are part of the second phase of rehabilitation.

A second stage is coming, which would be to arrange the theater in its modernity, that is, all the technical part and the missing spaces. This theater, Mr. President, rises 8 floors – from the stage upwards -, where the orchestral, theatrical and dance work takes place (…) in the basement part it would be all the theatrical work. We have three basements – three floors below the scenario-”, as detailed Colmenares.

In this sense, for the completion of this work, the Venezuelan Dignitary entrusted Jacqueline Faría “with the engineering and operational part”, Calixto Ortega, “with the spiritual part, as a good Catholic” and the Minister of Petroleum and Political godfather of the 1×10 system of Good Government in Zulia state, Rafael Tellechea “from the financing part.”

In this solemn activity, President Maduro was awarded the “Singing Boy” medal by Father Richard Colmenares.
