Venezuelans choose more than 4,000 projects in National Popular Consultation

The National Electoral Commission for the Great Popular Consultation offered a balance of the journey held this Sunday, where more than 4,500 projects were approved throughout the national territory, which have been selected and prioritized by the Venezuelan men and women.

The spokesperson for the Electoral Commission, Carolina Arellano, congratulated the people of Venezuela for their participation in these elections: “I want to congratulate those glorious Venezuelan people, all that People’s Power that worked today in all those electoral circuits and centers, as well as to all that People’s Power, I insist citizens, neighbor men and women from all sectors of the national territory, who exercised their vote in a civic and democratic manner…” expressed Arellano.

Likewise, she extended his congratulations to the National Electoral Council (CNE), to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) for the organization and support throughout the national territory, where electoral material was distributed in more than 15,000 electoral centers throughout the country:

I say here and allow myself to say that Venezuela won, all the Venezuelans who participated in this electoral party today won, I also thank you again, a recognition to all the international observers who were present from those 50 countries, 158 observers in nine states of the national territory.”

She thanked the observers from Argentina who had the will to come see this unprecedented democratic process in Venezuela despite their internal problems in their country: “I also acknowledge the comrades from Ecuador and the United States, because they are present despite all their problems and all the inconveniences that are happening in those countries, they have the desire and motivation to see what is happening in Venezuela, this popular consultation that Venezuelans are doing.”

In this sense, she noted that this is the beginning of a new stage of organization, since 4,500 electoral projects were approved throughout the country: “What is coming is an organization and distribution of resources to execute these projects, through what? Through the Communes.”
