President Maduro establishes agreements with Vietnam on political, economic and technological matters

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received this Saturday a delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV) that is on an official visit to the country, with the aim of strengthening diplomatic relations and cooperation in various strategic areas for both nations.

The delegation is led by the chairman of the Internal Affairs Commission of the CPV Central Committee, Phan Dinh Trac, and is in the company of the first secretary of the Provincial Committee in Hau Giang; Nghicni Xuan Thanh, the first secretary of the Provincial Committee in Lao Cai; Dang Xuan Phong, the vice minister and vice president of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee, Ngo Le Van, and the Vietnamese ambassador to Venezuela, Vu Trung My.

It is worth remembering that trade between Vietnam and Venezuela has tripled in the last three years. In 2020, trade between both nations stood at 20 million dollars, and now it reaches 70 million dollars, an important fact because it deepens the bilateral relations of two socialist countries.

Venezuela and Vietnam share many common values of progress, humanity, development and prosperity and are advancing in building a relationship of mutual cooperation for the development and well-being of their peoples.
