CNE: 13 candidates and 37 organizations registered for JUL-28

Thirty-seven (37) political parties registered thirteen (13) candidates before the National Electoral Council (CNE), in the registration process that ended this Monday, March 25, to aspire to the presidency of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the next elections on July 28 (28J), as reported the president of the Electoral Branch, Elvis Amoroso.

Through a press conference, Amoroso gave the results of the process that culminated at 2 a.m. this Tuesday, when the last of the candidates met the requirements to compete in the Venezuelan electoral party:

37 political parties and 13 candidates presented themselves before the National Electoral Council so that, on July 28, you can exercise your absolute will,” said Amoroso in reference to the voters, and explained that the political organizations nominated and registered, some of them in the form of accession, to the various candidates in complete respect and harmony, in what he described as a very satisfactory and uneventful process.

The president of the CNE thanked the representatives of the political parties, the candidates and all those who, respecting the Bolivarian Constitution of Venezuela, complied with all the requirements established by the laws.

He reiterated that political organizations and candidates appeared before the CNE without any restrictions to participate in the presidential electoral party that Venezuela will organize as always every 6 years:

We want to congratulate and wish success to each of the candidates, we welcome you to this democratic party, where we will once again set an example to the people of Venezuela and the people of the world, that we have the best electoral system and we will demonstrate it again on June 28”, he expressed.

The CNE has satisfactorily completed the journeys for submitting applications scheduled in the electoral schedule for the 2024 Presidential Election, which began last Thursday, March 21, and ended this Monday, March 25. The entity will continue to report in the coming days on the electoral process in progress.
