Venezuela will participate at the Moscow International Tourism Fair

The Venezuelan delegation will participate at the Moscow International Tourism Fair to promote the megadiverse, multi-destination and peaceful country, as reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Tourism, Alí Padrón through his account on the X social network, @AliErnesto32.

Likewise, the visit is “to greet the Russian people for the victory of the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin. We bring a message of peace from the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” he expressed.

In 2023, more than 33,000 Russian tourists visited our country. In this sense, Padrón highlighted that successful strategies have been developed that strengthen diverse and receptive tourism in Venezuela. Likewise, he assured that the domestic tourism sector closed last year with very encouraging figures, where in addition to the increase in the arrival of international tourists, hotel and service provisions have increased in terms of quality.

The Russians have visited Margarita Island, the Canaima National Park and the city of Caracas. The national government is working to promote the tourism sector as part of its plan for a new sustainable economic model both nationally and internationally.
