Get to export, was said! To export over there in those worlds. The entire Arab world, the entire Muslim world. Over there in Iran. Even in Europe they are asking for Venezuelan meat, because now they say in the world that our meat is surpassing the Brazilian, the Argentine and the Uruguayan in quality, in softness, in flavor. That is what is being talked about in the world now.”

The statement was made by the national president, Nicolás Maduro, during his visit to the La Guanota Farm in Apure state, in recognition of the sustained growth in the agri-food sector of Venezuela in recent years and within the framework of the 7 Transformations towards 2030.

He highlighted that given the new economic dynamics that are emerging in the country, Venezuela must assume the commitment to go from an importing country to an exporting country.

In Venezuela we no longer talk about oil, nor about Misses, nor just about the Revolution, but now people talk about Venezuelan meat in the world, so the order is to export,” he urged.

Likewise, to continue building the debate of the New Era hand in hand with the 7 Transformations, the National President invited the working force in the agri-food field to continue contributing his ideas, to continue reinvigorating this sector with more strength:

I invite you producers, farmers, fishermen, fisherwomen, the hwole Venezuela to commit to the work of designing the future collectively with the 7 Transformations, the 7Ts that Venezuela needs.”

In this framework he asked to put aside distractions and continue on the path of growth:

We have to refine the plans, that is why I was saying with Maduro on the road, today we Venezuelans are focused on at least two tasks that unite us all, growing, not losing focus but being there that no one can help us.” distract from production, from growth, from improving things and from joining national efforts so that the country continues to progress and build its own economic model.”

In this sense, the Head of State approved financing to encourage agricultural production in Apure state. In addition, he promoted mechanization in the various processes involved in production and the massification of irrigation systems so that Apure produces even in the dry season.

During the day he highlighted that this region has the third largest herd of cattle in the country: “it is the second largest meat producer in Venezuela and has immense potential in other branches. The productive vocation of the Apure state in livestock farming with the incorporation in recent decades of buffalo, buffalo livestock and also the production of some agricultural items,” contributed the governor of the state, Eduardo Piñate.
