With the opening of the Saime office begins registration for the population of Essequibo

From Miraflores Palace, the epicenter of the meeting with the People’s Power that was mobilized in support of the Action Plan in defense of Guayana Esequiba, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that this Saturday, December 9, opens the office of the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) in Tumeremo, to issue ID cards to the entire population of Essequibo.

The beginning of the identification process responds to the seventh line of action to protect and defend Guayana Esequiba, thus fulfilling the mandate of the people expressed at the electoral polls on December 3. In this regard, it integrates the strategies of the Social Care Plan, which also provides for the activation of a census.

In context, the Venezuelan head of state asked for the support of the people and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to advance in peace towards the great objective: “For our Venezuela to remain with its complete map, for our Venezuela to advance in peace, for our Venezuela to continue its path of glory, of union.”

On the other hand, regarding the Day of Loyalty and Love to Commander Hugo Chávez, he evoked the importance of this day, in which – he said – nostalgia emerges, highlighting that this December 8 becomes even more emblematic by announcing these decrees for the defense of the Essequibo territory.
