“Venezuela strongly rejects the statements issued by the president of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Irfaan Alí, where once again, he interferes in matters that are the absolute responsibility of Venezuelans,” as stated by the chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic. of Venezuela, Yván Gil, on his official account X, in which he published an official communiqué on behalf of Venezuela.
It should be noted that the interventionist attitude of the Guyanese president is repetitive in relation to meddling in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The chancellor maintains in the official communiqué that “President Irfaan Alí, has repeatedly refused to attend the dialogues called by Venezuela to resolve, as ordered by the 1966 Geneva Agreement, the territorial controversy of Guyana Essequiba ( …)”.
