National government promotes strategies to strengthen the airlines sector

A high-level meeting was held between representatives of the national government and the airlines that operate in the country, with the purpose of promoting strategic plans to enhance operations and increase national and international passenger transportation.

The activity was headed by the head of Transportation, G/D Ramón Velázquez Araguayán. The meeting was attended by the Vice Minister of Air Transport, G/B Freddy Borges; the president of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), Colonel Leonardo Briceño Dudamel; the president of the Venezuelan Chamber of Air Transport (Ceveta), Captain Jorge Álvarez; the vice-president of Conviasa, G/D José Gregorio Márquez; the presidents and representatives of the Venezuelan airlines.

One of the fundamental tools to implement is the 1×10 system of Good Government, a strategy to provide responses under a State vision, with the aim of increasing the levels of operation and quality service of the sector.
