Venezuela consolidates health alliances with the UN

The sectoral vice president for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, met with the representatives of the United Nations (UN) system, with whom she shared action plans and established alliances to address the treatment of diseases in Venezuela.

The information was made know through her account on the X social network, @Gabrielasjr, in which she specified that the will be attended the health care policy ordered by the president, Nicolás Maduro, on malaria, HIV and tuberculosis:

As part of the activities of the Sectoral Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, Education and Health, we held a meeting with Dr. Gianluca Rampolla, Coordinator Resident of the UN in Venezuela in the company of Dr. Cecilia Vitae, Manager of the Global Fund, Dr. Magdy Martínez, Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP, Dr. Regina López de Khalek, Country Director of UNAIDS and Dr. Franklin Hernández, Representative of PAHO/WHO to advance the work set that allows to deepen the national health policies in Malaria, HIV and TB”, as outlined in the published message.

It should be noted that the Bolivarian Government promotes alliances to protect the Venezuelan people, affected by the imposition of more than 926 unilateral coercive measures that threaten the public health system and the national economy.
