President Maduro receives Credentials from the Ambassador of the French Republic

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received this Wednesday the Letters of Credence from the ambassador designated by the French Republic in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Emmanuel Pineda.

Pineda has worked as Second Secretary in Lisbon (Portugal), political adviser at the Permanent Representation of France to the United Nations in Geneva, as well as head of the Mission to Support Strategic Sectors, Companies and the International Economy.

Likewise, in 2019 he served as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Honduras, a position he held before presenting, on August 10, the Style Copies as French ambassador to Venezuela, to the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil.

The Venezuelan Government, despite the adversities, has spared no efforts to consolidate dialogue as a way to reach consensus and timely solutions, framed in respect for the sovereignty of the peoples.

In November 2022, during the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), the Venezuelan dignitary in an affable meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, told him that “France must play a positive role” in the region.
