This Thursday, Venezuela assumed the Pro Tempore Presidency of the 52nd Meeting of Ministers of the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE), as reported the Sectoral Vice President of the Economy, Tareck El Aissami, through his account on the Instagram social network, @tareckpsuvoficial:

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela highlights the effort of this prestigious organization to sponsor this ministerial event of the energy sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, from which we are convinced effective mechanisms for political dialogue will emerge in the regional energy sphere,” said Tareck El Aissami.

In his speech, El Aissami thanked and congratulated the executive secretary of OLADE, Alfonso Blanco Bonilla, for his support to member countries during the pandemic, while he was in charge of the permanent secretary of this regional integration mechanism.

The Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum, as a representative of the Venezuelan State, encouraged OLADE to guide its efforts to position the organization as an institution that defends the importance of renewable and non-renewable energy sources to guarantee security and safety. energy stability of our peoples.
