This Sunday, the People’s Power Minister for Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, reported that in this meeting with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) are evaluated the fundamentals of the Market and what is the real offer, as well as are analyzed the challenges facing the organization for this 2023.
This was stated by El Aissami, through a live broadcast on his account on the Instagram social network, @tareckpsuvoficial, where he indicated that it is about «a wonderful work agenda, cohesion and the spirit of unitary work that today is part of this virtuous mechanism, which has made it easier for us to overcome all the adversities and fluctuations that the world oil market has had”.
Regarding the issue, he recalled that, at the meeting held on October 5 in Vienna, the oil group approved the cut in crude oil production by two million barrels per day. This is the largest decline in production since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finally, the People’s Power Minister for Petroleum pointed out that after the meeting, he will communicate the decisions that are made during this work day.
