Venezuela and China strengthen strategic alliances and bilateral cooperation

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Wednesday in Caracas the special representative of the Government of the People’s Republic of China for Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, Qiu Xiaoqi, who is visiting the nation to deepen bilateral collaboration, through of the China-Venezuela High-Level Joint Commission.

It is important to note that the strategic alliances between both nations have resulted in more than 600 joint projects, the creation of binational funds and cooperation in various economic areas. Likewise, have been carried out projects in the energy, industrial, public works, housing, agricultural, scientific-technological, transportation, culture, trade, security and defense areas.

Relations between Venezuela and China have been defined and consolidated as a strategic association for joint development, which has allowed bilateral cooperation in greater dimension and depth.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela shares with the Asian country an international agenda based on peace and the defense of multilateralism. Similarly, they have assumed a strategic nature by setting up the High-Level Joint Commission as a mechanism to strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest.
