Vice President Delcy Rodríguez welcomes Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba Ramiro Valdés

This Wednesday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the Cuban Revolution, Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, together with a large delegation that accompanies him, to review cooperation and strengthen ties between both nations.

On this occasion, they will delve into bilateral cooperation, which dates back more than two decades, in order to evaluate and examine the progress and prospects of the comprehensive agreement signed between the two brotherly countries.

It should be noted that the main alliances between the Caribbean nation and Venezuela were prioritized in the areas of sports, education, communication, food, science, health, among others, which have been fruitful for the development of both peoples.

This year, the National Executive, headed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received a large delegation from the largest of the Antilles, where he highlighted that “relations between Cuba and Venezuela are an example of what they can achieve and reach two peoples that consider themselves brothers, by guiding the way towards a deep refounding of the cooperation map, to deepen and improve mutual support”.

Finally, in this meeting with the Executive Vice President, the Cuban delegation is accompanied by the Minister of the Republic of Cuba, the Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Vicente de la O Levy, the Vice Minister of Construction, Ricardo Carbajo, and the director of the Petróleo de Cuba company, Néstor Pérez Franco, among other high-ranking officials of the Homeland of Martí.
