COVID: Venezuela registered eight new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of eight new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which one is of community origin and seven are imported from Panama, to add 545,616 as the confirmed accumulated total.

This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 953 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,820 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 539,075 and there are 721 current active cases.
