COVID: Venezuela registered 111 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 111 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, to sum 542,508 as the confirmed accumulated total of cases.

Most of the contagions of the day are located in the states of Caracas (47), Miranda (23), Zulia (20), Yaracuy (7), Bolívar (7), Aragua (2), among others.

This was announced this Wednesday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 899 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,796 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 534,949 and there are 1,763 current active cases.
