A total of 181 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which two were imported from Panama and the Dominican Republic, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 540,977 cases.

The cases of the day were detected mostly in Miranda (38), Cojedes (34), Caracas (33) and Zulia (21).

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

On day 886 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,784 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 532,197 and there are 2,996 current active cases.
