FANB disabled K-8 plane for violating Venezuelan airspace in Apure

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) disabled a K-8 plane that violated Venezuelan airspace through the Apure state, and the operation was carried out as part of the actions carried out in the border areas against the Armed Terrorists Drug Trafficking group of Colombia (TANCOL).

The strategic operational commander of the FANB, General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, specified through his Twitter account that the aircraft violated sovereignty by flying at low altitude and without authorization from the Maiquetía Flight Information Region (Maiquetia FIR).

Likewise, Hernández Lárez explained that whoever directed the ship was trying to circumvent the radars by flying with the transponder turned off and without an identification code.
