President Maduro announces deployment of BRICOMILES to rehabilitate health and education infrastructure throughout the country

The Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced on Monday the creation and deployment of the Military Community Brigades for Health and Education (BRICOMILES), units that will be deployed throughout the country to address denounces filed by the people through the 1×10 system of Good Governance.

In this regard, he reported that this Saturday, June 25, will begin the formation of these instances in the educational centers of the country, which will proceed to survey the needs to carry out the repair work of the failures in the educational infrastructure that have been reported to through line 58 of the VenApp application:

“On Saturday, July 2, we should be in a position to start the deep, structural repairs and the beautification of all the schools, Simoncitos and all the high schools in the country”, stated President Maduro.

Likewise, he announced that the Military Community Health Brigades will be activated as of July 9, the date on which must be held the corresponding assemblies and evaluations to detect needs:

On Saturday, July 16, we would forcefully start the repair and commissioning of the entire Barrio Adentro I and II system, outpatient clinics, CDI Integral Diagnostic Centers, SRI Integral Rehabilitation Rooms and CAT High Technology Centers (…) we started repairs, reactivation and equipment”, he explained.

In this context, President Maduro called on all governors, mayors and the People’s Power to join efforts to heal the wounds that the economic war has left in the Homeland:

“Let’s all go with the 1×10 generating answers and solutions, the 1×10 of Good Governance is for us to put our batteries on”, said the Head of State, while inviting the entire political power to make a superior effort to give effective responses to the Venezuelan people.
