Announced President Maduro: Venezuela will expand cooperation agenda with Azerbaijan

The state visit of President Nicolás Maduro to the Republic of Azerbaijan will serve to strengthen strategic cooperation links in tourism, agriculture, science and technology based on a thorough review of bilateral alliances:

We come with a strong team to propose viable options in cooperation in tourism, in agriculture, in scientific and technological matters, one of the great results of this tour is everything we are achieving in scientific and technological innovation agreements”, he detailed upon arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, located in the city of Baku.

He also explained that the stay in Azerbaijan will be propitious to review the dialogue processes for peace, as well as the preparations for the next Summit of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, NAM.

He stressed that the Eurasian tour “aims to consolidate a diverse map of the new world of the new humanity”, based on “the dialogue of civilizations, cultures, people”.

“We have been talking about the need to build a new humanity without hegemonic empires, without persecuting peoples, without sanctions, without blockades, or economic wars”, he added.

On the other hand, the Dignitary stressed that the State visits have allowed to give an update -before the different governments- on the political, economic and social situation in Venezuela:

The people are very happy because Venezuela has taken the path of recovery and we receive that in all countries, they express the desire to help Venezuela, so that it continues to grow, recover and consolidate towards improvements, advancing towards a state of prosperity (…) and we are committed to strengthening the 18 engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda on this path of recovery, diversification and development of the economy”, he pointed out.
