President Maduro announces the third phase of the Patriot, Beautiful and Safe Greater Caracas Plan

This Monday, the third phase of the Gran Caracas Patriota, Bella y Segura (Patriotic, Beautiful and Safe Greater Caracas) Plan was launched, a stage adapted to the 1×10 of Good Governance, as reported the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.

During a television broadcast from Miraflores Palace, regarding a meeting with the sectoral vice presidents, Maduro also called for achieving the goal of making structural changes in services, housing, health, transportation and others.

In addition, he urged the mayors of the Chacao, El Hatillo and Baruta municipalities to “make a united effort” to transform the city.

In this regard, from the Bolívar Avenue in the Libertador municipality, Mayor Carmen Meléndez explained that with this stage of the plan they seek to attend to road arteries, highways and roads.

She specified that there will be 45 avenues; four highways; two highways; several social houses; five seats; 20 boulevards and other spaces in the capital.

She added that they are also going to recover all the entry points to the Greater Caracas, all this with the participation of 40 government entities, which have already been assigned a task in this strategy.

Likewise, the head of the Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, highlighted that two asphalt trains and trucks are already available to improve the roads in the region.

The national president explained that, to date, through the 1×10 system for Good Governance, 2,188 incidents have been reported in Caracas, 1,226 are (related to) water; 594 to health and 368 to education, “and we are already working on it“.

On the other hand, in Miranda state, there are 1,272 (reports), of which 661 are for water, the majority in Petare, 418 for health and 203 for education.
