The National Government will strengthen food production with the aim of increasing the supply of products made in Venezuela in the market, as stated by the Vice Minister of Productive Economy, Ricardo Javier Sánchez, through a post published on Twitter.
The measure also seeks to depend less on imports, as he indicated during a meeting with representatives of the Venezuelan Chamber of the Food Industry (CAVIDEA):
“We met with the members and founders of the Venezuelan Chamber of the Food Industry @CAVIDEA_. This meeting strengthens the dialogue that began last year and that today maintains its permanent work with the different productive sectors of the country”, he said.
